Little People, Nerdy Girl.

While avoiding more productive and important things I stumbled upon this Etsy shop, Toys Of the Past, that sells nothing but vintage fisher price. Why don't they make the little people this cool anymore? Now they have arms, legs, clothes and a dvd series where Aaron Neville sings the theme song.


Part of me says "Parker needs these!" ...especially since we have some in his bedroom closet. They need friends, right?

Some New News About Old Things.

I don't think it is any secret how much I adore Shauna Rogers of Lemon kissed. We have been the best of pals since the 6th grade. Besides a dirty sense of humor and an obsession with all things crafty, we also share a passion for finding that perfect vintage item. Our quests have turned up some fabulous things through the years. Some truly great and some just so weird we had to keep them.

We have decided to take our love for vintage and each other to the next level. That's right. We have opened up a collaborative Etsy shop. Lemon Shack Vintage is the baby that is born when two crazy ladies love fun, quirky and of course cool things.

Hello! My name is Marie, owner of MarieLou.
I have the uncomfortable first post jitters. So much pressure. What if you hate me? What if I accidentally toot when I laugh? Did I remember to wear deodorant? Oh gosh. I could sum everything up in a cheesy and awkward introduction or I can keep it simple and show you what I am all about.

Some, or most...or none of you may be familiar with Etsy Treasuries. Essentially they are wish lists of up to 16 items with themes created by Etsy users. So I decided to do a treasury some of the people, places, junk, stuff, addictions and inspirations that make up what MarieLou is all about!
